Hello visitors and faithful followers!
My name is Georgia, and I am an honored daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend–who enjoys the artsy side of life. That is– writing, crafting, playing guitar, cooking fresh food, gallery hops, wine tasting, restaurant trying, design, philosophy, and exploration.
I am a stay-at-home-mother (SAHM) with a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW). Previously I worked as a mental health therapist and program director for a nutrition center. Hence, why this blog has an emphasis in both personal experience and educational material.
I composed McKinley Milestones to demonstrate my appreciation of (and preserve) the precious moments of all the roles I mentioned above. This blog is aimed at sharing McKinley’s and life’s milestones, the joys and struggles of parenthood, and along the way the things we sometimes forget- those hard learned life lessons.
My mission is to promote growth and overall well-being within the mind, body, and spirit through creativity, analysis, and understanding. My hope is to allow you (and me) to gain a better understanding of ourselves and our relationships to our families and the world. Although, my ultimate hope is to inspire.
Please feel free to contact me with any comments or questions. I always appreciate ideas and feedback. Just fill out the form below and I’ll try to respond as quickly as I can.
